GOOD NEWS FOR ТHЕ CITIZENS ОF PRESEVO, BUJANOVAC AND MEDVEDJA

"I extend congratulations to the Albanian national minority and to the Party for Democratic Action, which is led by Riza Halimi, on their good and responsible decision to go to the polls in such a considerable number and win two seats in the Parliament," said Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

Mr. Stankovic said that the decision to vote was a correct one, since it was the right way to improve the lives of people in that region, as well as to show, through parliamentary action, the intention of the Albanian community to participate in and be integrated into the political life of Serbia.

“I'm glad that they recognized the intention of the state and opted for such a course, as opposed to those who apparently didn’t show any political maturity, and in some sense responsibility, towards the population of the three municipalities, not even to their electorate," said Mr. Stankovic. He said that a great deal of work awaited us and that it had to becompleted, as well as that the time had come to finish it off.

“I expect that future MPs will have an influence on an improvement in the atmosphere, which will contribute to the solving of the problems owing to mutual understanding, as well as that they will advocate that the laws, which the Parliament will be adopting, are observed in these municipalities, "said Mr. Stankovic.
