PREMIERE OF “CATCH ME IF YOU CAN” MOVIE

On Tuesday, November 30, 2010, “The Future” multiethnic organization from Veliki Trnovac showed for the first time to the residents of Bujanovac “Catch  me if You  Can” feature  -  length movie. The said movie is part of the project “Together  for a Smile”, which  was supported by the Coordination  Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

”The Future” organization has already produced a short film, which conveys a clear message to the young that they shouldn’t take narcotics and which promotes healthy life.

The Albanian, Serbian and Romany young people are actors and actresses in the “Catch me if you Can” movie. The film, which is basically a comedy, is aimed at improving communication among the young from South Serbia.

The film portrays the way in which the young of all ethnic backgrounds live and the way in which they associate with one another. The message is quite clear and it is that language differences are insignificant, because the actors and actresses communicated among themselves in their mother tongues, as well as in English.

Over 650 residents of Bujanovac watched the premiere of the movie. It is obvious that such projects are welcome since they have an impact on improvement of relations among members of all ethnic communities in Bujanovac.
