PAYMENT OF SUBSIDIES FOR AGRICULTURE FROM MARCH 10

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management announced that all farmers who had received basic incentives per hectare in the previous year would be automatically paid the money into their accounts in 2021, without submitting any requests. The payment would be effected as early as March 10, 2021. The Ministry provided almost 7.5 billion dinars for that support measure.

Bearing in mind that the price of oil has been reduced, the temporary measure of state aid per hectare, which was implemented for two years, was repealed. The competent institutions will monitor the movements of the oil price on the market and in case of a sharp rise, react again.

New beneficiaries of subsidies, who did not exercise their right to basic incentives in 2020, and who were entered into the Farm Register (FR) before September 30, 2020, have to e-mail the following data to receive the above-mentioned subsidy: name and surname, farm number (FN) and Unique Master Citizen Number. The submission deadline is from March 1 to April 30.
