OVER 400 MIGRANTS RELOCATED TO SOUTH SERBIA

Sombor, Presevo - In a joint action of the City of Sombor, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, the Gendarmerie and the Sombor Police, a new action of relocation of 436 migrants from Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Algeria and Morocco, who did not have a regulated stay in that city, was carried out yesterday.

The migrants were illegally accommodated in 30 locations in the city of Sombor and the outskirts of the city, mostly in private accommodation, intended for renting. They tried to reach neighboring Hungary and Croatia in various ways, in order to reach one of the EU countries.

The migrants were transported by eight buses to the Reception Center for Migrants in Presevo, in South Serbia.
