OVER 10 MILLION DINARS FOR SPORTS CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS IN MEDVEDJA

Medvedja - Agreements on the implementation of the programs for financing and supporting activities in the field of sports in the territory of the municipality were signed in the office of the Mayor of Medvedja. Based on this, the local self-government would support sports clubs, associations and federations with over 10 million dinars.

Pursuant to the Rulebook on approval and financing, the funds were granted to: the Football Club "Jablanica", as well as to the Basketball and Karate clubs of the same name, the Sports Association of the Municipality of Medvedja, the Aikido Association "Jablanica", the Chess Club "Gornja Jablanica" and the Sports Association "Free Style" from Medvedja.

“It has turned out that every coin invested in our youth and sports pays off many times over. They pay us back through the successes they achieve and they present the municipality in the best possible way. Our desire, as a local self-government, is to keep young people here and to include them as much as possible in all spheres of cultural and sports life. The management of the clubs instills confidence that sports in the municipality of Medvedja will develop in a good direction, and it remains for us to support them, "said Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, during the signing of the agreements with the associations.
