OUR STUDENTS THE BEST AT RESOLVING CONFLICTS, REWARDS TO SCHOOLS FROM BUJANOVAC AND SUBOTICA

At a competition held at the Academy of Central European Schools (ACES), which was organized in Prague last weekend, schools from Subotica and Bujanovac were, among 101 competing schools from the region, selected as the best ones in the category of “conflict resolution” and “intercultural team work”.

In the period from March 29 to April 1, 2011, around 350 students, teachers, representatives of the ministries and  experts on education from 15 countries gathered together in the Czech Republic’s capital city. A total of 45 projects took part in the 2010/2011 competition, which was in conflict resolution within school and society. The “Branko Radicevic” elementary school from Bujanovac appeared at the international competition in cross-border school partnership with the project “For the Benefit of All Generations,  Long Live Mediation”, while the “Bosa Milicevic” secondary school of economics from Subotica took part in the competition with the project “Develop Tolerance, Respect Diversity”.
