"I'm glad that our guests today are our the famous basketball player, President of the Serbian Olympic Committee Vlade Divac and the water- polo player Milos Cuk. I hope that all those who are here today will learn something useful and interesting, and that some of them will become great champions in the future. "

Mayor of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, welcomed the Olympic caravan: "I'm glad that you're in our city. I hope that our children will understand the importance of sports and that they will have a good time today. "

“Today we are here to familiarize you with the basic Olympic values. Children throughout Serbia often wonder which is the way leading to success in sports, and my answer to you all is that the most important is the way how you get there. The most important thing is to follow the rules of fair play, so that you could walk through life with your heads raised, "said the participants of the Olympic class and President of the Serbian Olympic Committee, Vlade Divac.

The Serbian water- polo player Milos Cuk officially opened the "Olympic class" in Bujanovac. He acquainted the youngest children with his water-polo beginnings, answered the question referred to which game remained etched in his memory and explained to the elementary schoolchildren how sports shaped his life: "This is the first time for me to hold the" Olympic Class "and it is my pleasure to tell you about my sport, and who knows, maybe even motivate some of you to choose water- polo. In sports, it is important to win medals, so the favorite game in my career has to do with the finals of the European Championships in Eindhoven, when we defeated the Montenegrin team. However, more important are the friendships you gain, which are for life. Sports will teach you to respect your teammates, as well as your opponents, and that is something that you should follow. "

As part of the “Olympic Class”, primary school pupils from Bujanovac attended five workshops, named after the five basic Olympic values: the joy of the game, fair play, respect, excellence and the unity of spirit, mind and body. They also learned that the most important thing in everything they do is to do their best and to believe in their dreams.
