YOUNG FROM THE SOUTH IN THE NORTH

Representatives of Youth Offices from the southern and south-eastern part of Serbia stayed in Zrenjanin over the past few days.  They were on a study visit there, which was organized as part of the OSCE Mission to Serbia’s program, which refers to providing support to the young from the municipalities with ethnic minority communities. So far, the young from Dimitrovgrad, Bujanovac, Bosilegrad and Presevo have visited Sermski Karlovci, Kikinda, Senta, Sombor, Backi Petrovac and Zrenjanin.

„The study visit has several goals, which include culture, an exchange of experiences and cooperation. We want the young from various parts of Serbia to get to know the culture, the language, the mindset,  the customs, the religion and all other similarities and dissimilarities, for the purpose of getting closer to one another and removing possible prejudices and  stereotypes that we are all liable to“, said Darko Trajkov, Coordinator of the Zrenjanin Youth Office.
