NO NEW CASES OF THE “LUMPY SKIN” DISEASE IN MEDVEDJA

Medvedja – Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, said that that there hadn’t been any new cases of the “lumpy skin” cattle disease in the territory of the municipality over the previous few days. 

“Teams of veterinarians visited 49 households in the municipality over the past few days and they haven’t found out any new cases of the "lumpy skin" disease of cattle. The activity undertaken by veterinarians will go on”, Mayor Arsic said.  

Apart from 12 heads of cattle that fell ill in the village of Ravna Gora, which were killed last week, there haven’t been any new cases of the “lumpy skin” disease in the area of the municipality of Medvedja so far.
