NIS: WORKSHOP ON VIOLENCE AND DISCRIMINATION

20. November 2019.

A workshop for all members of civil society organizations from Serbia, as well as for informal groups and human rights activists dealing with the protection of persons who have experienced violence and discrimination, support systems and cooperation with institutions dealing with these issues, will be held in Nis from November 26 to 28, 2019.

The work program will be tailored to the different levels of knowledge, interests and target groups you work with - since the goal is, certainly, mutual!

During those three days, by using action and interactive techniques to identify real human rights issues and protect against violence and discrimination, with an emphasis on the LGBT community, the existing support mechanisms at national and local levels will be discussed, as well as the lack of them and the ways in which each of us can contribute and help in such situations.

All travel and accommodation costs are covered.

If you are interested in participating, please send an e-mail to egalnvo@gmail.com  by November 22 at the latest. Your e-mail should include: your first and last name, the name of the organization/ informal group you come from, the town you come from, as well as a brief explanation of why you want to participate in the workshop. Seating is limited.
