NEW LOOK OF BUJANOVAC

29. September 2014.

Vranje – The reconstruction and putting in order of the central square in Bujanovac is to be completed in a month’s time.

As planned, the central pedestrian zone should get a new look and become an improved business zone.  It is aimed at reviving the square, opening new shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as at attracting tourists.

When the project is completed, the area of 7.700 square meters will get a brand new look, while the reconstruction of the water supply and sewerage network is underway, too.

The reconstruction of the central square in Bujanovac costs around 65 million dinars, whereas the works are financed by the municipality of Bujanovac and the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

The project also envisages the restoration of the surrounding blocks of flats and their façades,  while the occupants of those buildings should provide financial assistance with the project.
