NEW FREE TEXTBOOKS AVAILABLE FROM YESTERDAY

2. March 2021.

Textbooks for the first and second grade of primary school are, from yesterday, available on the site besplatnabiblioteka.com. All of them have been approved by the Ministry of Education, as well as the Institute for the Advancement of Upbringing and Education, and as such can be used in teaching, the "Alek Kavčić" Foundation said.

For all textbooks of the first and second grade of primary school, as it is stated, distribution, copying or anything else that teachers or parents consider necessary is allowed.

“In a few days, sets of textbooks for the fifth and sixth grade will be available on the site. By the middle of the month, we will have about 70 percent of all textbooks used in teaching. Also, by the middle of the month, it will be possible to order printed textbooks at the price of two dinars per page, delivery included ", said Professor Alek Kavčić, the founder of the" Alek Kavčić " Foundation.

These textbooks have already been selected for teaching in previous years, but there is a legal framework to change that. The procedure is simple, it is sufficient for the parents 'council to contact the teachers' council for a change, and then just inform the Ministry of Education.

Let us remind you, on January 12, the Alek Kavčić Foundation published the first free textbooks for primary school students in Serbia.

Namely, professor at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Aleksandar Kavčić, realized the project of free textbooks for education in Serbia, which are in electronic form on the Internet, and of course, can be printed for personal needs.
