Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar handed the keys of 30 vehicles for emergency medical care to the executives of the City Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance in Belgrade, as well as to the health centers of 20 towns in Serbia.  The value of the donation is over 1.5 million euros.  

Apart from the ten vehicles for the Belgrade emergency medical service, Zlatibor Loncar delivered the ambulances to the health centers in Cuprija , Gornji Milanovac, Vrbas, Pozega, Priboj,  Petrovac on the Mlava River,  Valjevo, Lazarevac , Senta, Sombor, Ub , Obrenovac, Ruma , Backa Topola, Srpska Crnja, Bujanovac, Novi Pazar, Kursumlija, Vlasotince, Krusevac and Arandjelovac.  

Тhe donated ambulances are fully equipped with the necessary equipment that meet all the standards. Minister Loncar said that another 30 vehicles would be available to the Serbian medical institutions at the beginning of the following year and added that it would be a big step forward for the improvement of health services in the country.  

The vehicles were provided thanks to the Ministry of Health’s project the “Provision of Enhanced Services at the Local Level” - DILS, which is funded with the support from the World Bank.
