NEARLY A QUARTER OF EMPLOYEES IN PCINJ DISTRICT HAVE ILLEGAL EMPLOYMENT

On the occasion of emergency inspection that the Labor Inspectorate carried out in the territory Pcinj District, it was found out that of 344 caught workers, 74 of them hadn’t been reported for  the compulsory social insurance, stated the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Serbia.

The inspections were carried out in 172 economic entities whose activity is mainly catering, manufacturing, transportation, wholesale and retail trade in Vranje, Vladicin Han, Bujanovac, Preševo ​​and Surdulica, as well as on the construction site of Corridor 10. 

Because of the established violations in the field of labor, inspectors filed eight requests for instigating offence proceedings against legal and responsible persons, while six requests for misdemeanor proceedings were filed because of shortcomings in the field of safety and health at work, it was said in the statement.

Labour inspection is reached 47 decisions because of irregularities in the field of labor relations, 36 decisions in the field of safety and health at work and four decisions on termination of work at the workplace, and ordered the employers to employ the persons working illegally.
