NATIONAL DAY OF GIVING: A SCHOOL OF GOOD PEOPLE

Elementary schools and elementary schoolchildren will be the main beneficiaries of the National Day of Giving, which will be celebrated on October 9 this year.

All donations collected during the campaign will be used to provide state-of-the-art student teaching facilities in more than 60 schools in 30 municipalities across Serbia. The primary schools covered by the campaign will be equipped with new smartboards, laptops, projectors and teaching aids for the youngest, including bee bot robots.

In addition to raising funds, the goal of the campaign is to involve as many citizens and companies as possible this year and to strengthen the national character of the holiday.

The National Day of Giving is organized under the USAID-funded Project for the Advancement of Giving Framework, implemented by the Coalition for Charity, which is led by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation. Other members of the Coalition include the Track Foundation, the Catalyst Balkans, the SMART Collective, the Serbian Philanthropic Forum, the Responsible Business Forum and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
