MUNICIPALITY OF BUJANOVAC ANNOUNCES MODERNIZATION OF ITS ADMINISTRATION

Bujanovac - Thanks to the program of the Council of Europe "Human Resources Management in Local Self-Government - Phase 2", the Municipality of Bujanovac will receive a "support package”, which will modernize its administration for the benefit of the citizens", the local self-government said.

"Thanks to the “support package”, we are taking a big step towards creating an administration system that will enable the professional development of employees, including the evaluation of their work," it was said in the statement.

At a joint meeting with representatives of the Council of Europe, who monitor the Program, and colleagues from other local self-governments, the results of implementation and positive developments in the functioning of the administration were discussed.

‘We are pleased that we can continue to work on the professionalization of the local self-government, which is the only way to make an efficient local self- government that works in the best interest of the citizens", the municipality stated.

The Program "Human Resources Management in Local Self-Government - Phase 2", which is worth 4 million euros, involves 50 local self-governments, and is jointly funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, which implements the Program in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities.
