MR. STANKOVIC VISITED THE FLOODED VILLAGES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BUJANOVAC

Bujanovac – Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body, visited the flooded villages in the municipality of Bujanovac and talked to the locals. He, together with representatives of the municipality of Bujanovac and MP Nenad Mitrovic, visited Novo Naselje, Bujanovac Spa, and the villages of Levosoje, Lucane and Konculj.

“The flood caused great damage. What is good at this point is that the water has started to recede. I spoke with representatives of the municipality immediately upon arrival in Bujanovac and said that it must be urgently determined whether there was a need among the endangered for emergency accommodation, and then humanitarian aid in food and medicine should be organized. Representatives of the municipality told me that the damage was being reported as of today and that the process would last the following month, when we would have a full picture and accurate information about how much damage had been caused to the households. We agreed that a plan of assistance was to be made upon determining the total damage. The Coordination Body shall provide assistance to the municipality of Bujanovac," Mr. Stanković pointed out.

The President of the Coordination Body will visit the municipality of Medvedja tomorrow.
