Belgrade -  Responding to the questions on the Facebook page of the “Danas” daily, Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, said that no one was negotiating about the unification of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja with Macedonia or any other region in Serbia, as well as that it was an obligation arising from the oath he had given to the Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, which he, along with his associates, respected.

Mr. Stankovic pointed out that the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja were not in Kosovo and Metohija.

The President of the Coordination Body also said that the stories that the Americans were creating "greater Albania" were frivolous.

“Everyone can tell what they want, but they must not violate the Constitution, the laws and the territorial integrity of Serbia. Serious people do not comment on frivolous statements, and I try to be serious, "Mr. Stankovic replied.

Mr. Stankovic stated that one of the motives for working for the Coordination Body was the fact that he comes from southern Serbia and had an obligation to that region.

During the talk, he noted that he had been doing that job without any material compensation for more than six years, which is the time he has been in that position so far:

“There are the Coordination Body’s offices both in Presevo and Bujanovac, which operate on a daily basis and where we are constantly present. The role of the Coordination Body is to coordinate the work between the local self-governments, the Government of the Republic of Serbia and other state bodies. When it comes to finances, I do not receive any material compensation, while the other 19 employees receive it as other government employees do," Mr. Stankovic said.
