Bujanovac – It will be commendable if the session in Pristina contributes to the spending of the announced finacial assistance to the benefit of the residents of the municipalities of Preševo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, which were, are and will be an integral part of Serbia, while let those who have nothing else to do talk about secession and the joining of any territories, including Kosovo and Metohija," Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Bujanovac, Presevo, Medvedja, said in Bujanovac.

For Mr. Stankovic, who was in Bujanovac while a session of provisional institutions dedicated to "the current situation in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja and problems of the Albanians" was being held in Pristina, which was the only item on the agenda, "it will be commendable if the session contributes to a better understanding of the citizens of Pristina and the citizens of Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja ".

"I am in Bujanovac to solve the problems related to the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and providing textbooks for teaching in the Albanian language," was the first thing that the President of the Coordination Body said to the gathered journalists.

As he said, in a meeting with Mayor Shaip Kamberi, we spoke "precisely about these crucial topics that bother the residents of the municipality".

“We also discussed employment and the enrollment of students in the Faculty of Economics in Bujanovac, which are the current issues of the municipality that we are working on together with the local self-government, " Mr. Stankovic says.

Speaking of the wastewater treatment plant, which, among other things, would end the many years of misfortunes of the inhabitants of the new settlement and Bujanovac Spa, where frequent floods often occur, Mr. Stankovic pointed out that "it is in the resolution stage".

“The preliminary draft has been made for both Bujanovac and Preševo.  We expect 7 million euros to be provided for the implementation of the project, "he said.
