MORE INVESTMENTS IN THE REVIVAL OF JUSTINIANA PRIMA, THE FAMOUS HISTORICAL SITE

Leskovac, Medvedja - Goran Cvetanovic, the Mayor of Leskovac, Bozidar Stojiljkovic, the Governor of the Jablanica District, the Mayors of Medvedja, Bojnik and Vlasotince, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Lebane, attended the working meeting, during which the plans for jointly investing in the revival of the famous historical site Justiniana Prima, near Lebane, were discussed.

It was agreed at the meeting to establish a working group that would deal with applying for projects with the EU funds, investments in the infrastructure of the site, as well as with the promotion of the site among domestic and foreign tourists.

Justiniana Prima is part of our tradition and rich history, and along with Viminacium, Felix Romuliana and Constantine’s city of Nis is an important part of history and the Christian tradition.

A special emphasis will be placed on the promotion of Justiniana Prima by organizing school trips.
