MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR ISSUED A CALL FOR THE TRAINING OF 1,060 NEW POLICE OFFICERS (DEADLINE: JUNE 5, 2020)

Belgrade - The Ministry of the Interior issued a call for the enrollment of 1,060 training beneficiaries in the Center for Basic Police Training (COPO) for the needs of all 27 Police Departments in Serbia, while the interested persons can apply for the training until June 5.

As the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and the Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic said yesterday, the Ministry continues to strengthen and rejuvenate the police staff.

Out of 1,060 training beneficiaries in the Police Training Center, 510 will be professionally trained to perform the duties and tasks of a uniformed police officer at the workplace of a police officer, 250 for traffic police officers and 300 for border police officers.

When applying, the candidates for training beneficiaries have the opportunity to state which position they want to undergo professional training for.

The filled in application form, along with the documentation, is to be submitted to the police station at the place of residence of the candidate, within 15 days from the day of announcing the call in the “Politika” daily. The candidate can submit only one application.
