MINISTRY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT ISSUED A CALL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SINGLE ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS - 40 MILLION DINARS EARMARKED (DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2021)

The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Government of the Republic of Serbia said that it had allocated 40 million dinars to support cities and municipalities that wanted to establish a Single Administrative Position (SAP) in their communities.

The Ministry issued a public call for applications from local self-governmental units and city municipalities for receiving support in establishing single administrative positions. The funds are intended for the setting up and equipping of SAPs and for the procurement of the necessary technical means.

The goal of the project, as it was said in the statement, was to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and the economics of work, as well as to simplify the procedures, which all enables the reduction of administrative burdens, saves time and money, as well as the functioning of administration as a service to citizens.

"Only those cities and municipalities that meet the criteria and requirements, such as the fact that they already have some electronic services, can apply for these funds with the relevant ministry," it was also said in the statement.  

The deadline for submitting the applications is 10 days from the day of publication in the Official Gazette of the RS, or March 1, 2021, and the request for the distribution of funds is available on  http://mduls.gov.rs/saopstenja/javni-poziv-za-prijavu-jedinica-lokalne-samouprave-i-gradskih-opstina-za-dobijanje-podrske-prilikom-uspostavljanja-jedinstvenog-upravnog-mesta-2/?script=lat  
 

The project of establishing SAPs was launched three years ago and so far 14 of them have been opened in Serbia:  in Lazarevac, Sabac, Zitiste, Smederevska Palanka, Bela Palanka, Sombor, Krusevac, Vlasotince, Uzice, Gornji Milanovac, Raca, Pirot, Kursumlija and Stara Pazova.

By the end of the year, the citizens of Paracin, Topola and Kosjeric will also each get asingle administrative positions, it was said in the statement.
