MILITARY EXERCISE OF THE SOLDIERS FROM SIX COUNTRIES TAKES PLACE AT “JUG” BASE

Vranje –The Ministry of Defense announced that a military exercise would be held today at the “Jug” base near Bujanovac, in which members of the armed forces of six countries   would participate.

The exercise called “Platinum Wolf 15” began on November 15, while it should be completed today with a presentation that will be attended by General Ljubisa Dikovic, the Chief-of-Staff of the Serbian Army.  

Around 250 members of the armed forces of Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Croatia and the USA, along with members of the Serbian Army and Serbian Interior Ministry’s Gendarmerie, will participate in the “Platinum Wolf 15” military exercise.

As stated by the Ministry of Defense, the tactical exercise would be held in accordance with the scenario for the use of units in multinational operations.  

The exercise is a continuation of the “Platinum Wolf 14” exercise, which was held at the “Jug” base this July, as well as of the “Platinum Lion 14” exercise, which was held in Novo Selo in Bulgaria.
