MILITARY DOCTORS IN RAVNA BANJA

Меdvedja– The Ministry of Defense’s activity “Military Doctors in the Country” was conducted in Ravna Banja, which is a village in the municipality of Medvedja with ethnically mixed population.

The activity was conducted by the Third Training Center, in cooperation with the local self-government of the municipality of Medvedja.

“The activity was aimed at performing general medical and dental examinations of the villagers of Ravna Banja and residents of the surrounding area”, it was said in the statement.  

In addition to the medical team and a military vet from the Third Training Center, participants in the activity also included an agronomist and representatives of the Health Center, the Red Cross organization and the Social Welfare Centre from the municipality of Medvedja.  A general medical examination of 35 residents was carried out, within which their blood pressure and sugar levels were measured and their ECGs were done, while a general dental examination of 13 residents was also performed.    

As part of the activity, the military vet examined 81 heads of cattle in three households in the village of Ravna Banja.

During the activity, the Red Cross from Medvedja distributed detergent and blankets to the most vulnerable residents of the village.
