"MILITARY DOCTOR IN THE VILLAGE" CAMPAIGN TO BE LAUNCHED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MEDVEDJA

Medvedja - The "Military Doctor in the Village" campaign, which is organized by the Training Center from Leskovac and the Medvedja municipal administration, will take place at the elementary school in the village Gazdare from 9 am to 2 pm on May 14.

The campaign is aimed at providing medical assistance to the villagers and at improving cooperation between members of the Army of Serbia and members of the institutions in the municipality of Medvedja.

On that occasion, a coordination meeting on the detailed organization of the campaign was held in Medvedja.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Army of Serbia and the local self- government of Medvedja, as well as by representatives of the Health Center, the Red Cross Branch Office and the Center for Social Work in the municipality of Medvedja.

As part of the campaign, a general medical examination, which involves measuring blood -pressure, blood sugar and ECG, will be carried out, as well as dental examination of the villagers of Gazdare and the surrounding area.

A military veterinarian and an agronomist will also participate in the campaign, who will tour the rural households with cattle and agricultural plantations and provide professional veterinary and agronomic advice to the household-keepers.
