Loznica – The 39th. Students’ “Vukov sabor” is going to be organized in Trsic and Loznica from May 19 to 23, 2010, by the Loznica-based community center “Vuk Karadzic”. On the opening day of the event, Momir Nikolic, the world youth’s champion in playing the accordion, is going to have a soloist concert at the “Vuk Karadzic” community center. Children from Bujanovac and Presevo will also take part in the 39 th. Students’ “Vukov sabor” by performing the “You and I are We” play. A parade of the event’s participants along the street of Loznica, concerts given by folklore ensembles and fine arts workshops will be organized this year, like they were organized in the past.  

„According to tradition, the republican competition in the Serbian language and literature will be organized in Trsic for primary and secondary school students, while actors and actresses of the Belgrade-based “Bosko Buha” theatre, will perform the “Plavi zec” (Blue Rabbit) play during the main program of the event, which will take place on May 22, 2010. Also organized will be a presentation of a literary award given by “Politikin zabavnik”, while children from Gradiska (Republic of Srpska) are going to perform “Danica za mlade” (Danica for the Young) in front of Vuk Karadzic’s memorial house”, said Dajana Djedovic, the head of the community center.
