MARIJA FROM BUJANOVAC WON KRAGUJEVAC OVER WITH A PAINTING

Bujanovac - By the picture on the topic "Do You Believe that Good is Stronger than Evil", Marija Dabetic from the "Branko Radicevic" elementary school in Bujanovac won the award in the competition of more than a thousand works at the art event "One Sumarice is Enough in the World 2020".

Marija received a diploma and a cash prize of 10,000 dinars at the "October 21" Museum in Kragujevac.

The painting of a talented girl from Bujanovac, an eighth grade student, was declared the second best work in the competition in which students from 141 primary and 59 secondary schools participated, as well as members of 8 creative workshops from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and special guests from Russia.

“I am glad that the picture I painted was so highly rated. I am happy because of the award, because, won in this competition, it is a kind of confirmation of my talent. I fell in love with painting next to teacher Mariana Stoiljkovic, who is very deserving of this award", Marija said.

"One Sumarice is Enough in the World” is an event organized by the "Kragujevac October" Memorial Park, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the City of Kragujevac.
