MACEDONIANS RELOCATE THEIR BUSINESSES TO SERBIA

26. November 2014.

Skoplje/Belgrade – According to the regional media, the Macedonian companies have lately started to discontinue doing business operations in Macedonia and to relocate them to Serbia, because there are numerous financial facilities for them there.

According to the Macedonian daily "Utrinski vesnik", the Macedonian businessmen and companies set up their businesses and companies mainly in Vranje, Presevo and Bujanovac.

They say that the financial facilities include lower costs for the opening of companies in Serbia, less spending on the staff, reasonable legislation, lower fines and the absence of additional taxes and dues.

Businessmen agree that lower costs for the establishment of businesses aren’t crucial, but lower everyday costs that companies have in relation to conducting business operations.

One needs 5,000 euros to open a company in Macedonia and 500 euros in Serbia.
