LESKOVAC IMPOSED A 14 - DAY STATE OF EMERGENCY

Leskovac - Due to the fact that the recommendations given 7 days ago were not complied with, and because of the worsening of the epidemiological situation in Leskovac, the Emergency Situations Staff declared a state of emergency in that city, which would be in force from July 13 to 27.

The recommendations on the operation of catering facilities until 11 pm, limited gathering of people and mandatory wearing of masks in public and taxi transport vehicles have now become binding for all citizens of Leskovac.

 "At the same time, we have a younger population that is getting sick, as well as a larger number of cases with severe clinical pictures and on respirators. All directors of public companies shall be tested tomorrow.  We have to be rigid because the recommendations were not respected ", said the Commander of the Emergency Situations Staff and the Mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanović.

The latest data from the Institute of Public Health show that out of the results received for 16 people, 10 people tested positive for COVID, and one person died in the KOVID surgery in Leskovac while waiting for the results of the corona virus test.
