LACK OF EMPLOYEES IN MEDVEDJA

Medvedja – While other local self-governments have to lay off surplus employees, Medvedja has the opportunity to hire four more employees, because it turned out that no surplus employees were hired in Medvedja in the past.

Under the new Law on the Maximum Number of Civil Servants in Municipal Administrations, there are 176 people working in the companies, the cultural institution and the pre-school institution in Medvedja, while, under the said law, 180 people are allowed to work there, which means that the authorities may employ four more employees.

The above-mentioned figure refers to the situation existing at the end of 2015. The rationalization of employees will be done until 2018, so that it is uncertain how many employees the municipal administration of Medvedja will have by then.

Unlike the local self- government, the competent persons at the Health Center in Medvedja will have to reduce the number of medical staff from 72 to 64.
