KOREAN DELEGATION PAYS A VISIT TO VRANJE AND PRESEVO

Vranje, Presevo – The delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Serbia, led by Ambassador Li Dohun, paid an official visit to the Health Centre in Vranje.

Members of the delegation expressed an interest in providing assistance to the said medical institution with taking medical care of migrants and refugees.

The high-ranking officials of the Republic of Korea were received by the Director of the Health Center, Vladimir Stamenkovic, MD, as well as by his associates.

The aim of the visit was to familiarize the senior diplomatic representatives with the results achieved at the health center, its facilities, as well as with the conditions and opportunities that are offered to patients at the Health Center and hospital, but also with those offered at the Miratovac camp and the Reception Centre in Presevo, where teams of the Emergency Health Center in Vranje and hospital doctors are also engaged, according to the needs in the field.

Vladimir Stamenkovic, MD, informed Ambassador Li Dohun about the needs of the Health Center in Vranje for modernly equipped ambulances and diagnostic devices. Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Li Dohun, expressed his readiness, in collaboration with Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, to help the Health Centre in Vranje with offering migrants the necessary health assistance.

Apart from visiting the Health Center in Vranje, the Delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea visited the Reception Center in Presevo.
