JUNIORS FROM BUJANOVAC VISITING BELGRADE

The “BSK Junior” basketball club from Bujanovac organized a visit to Belgrade for the youngest basketball team members. On April 18, 2011, fifty youngest basketball team members, who are from six to ten years old, paid a visit to Serbia’s capital city and to the sports hall in New Belgrade, where they watched the training in basketball of junior members of the “Partizan” basketball club.

Upon watching the training of young members of the “Partizan” basketball club, the juniors from Bujanovac visited the “Red Star” and “Partizan” football stadiums, as well as the trophy rooms of our two largest sports clubs. While visiting the “Partisan” football stadium and trophy room, the young from Bujanovac met and associated with Zoran Stankovic, who is a former member of Serbia’s national basketball team and “Partisan’s” basketball ace.    

The young basketball players from Bujanovac spent their afternoon at the “McDonald’s” restaurant, where they met and associated with Minister Milan Markovic, President of the Coordination Body. On that occasion, Nenad Stajic, the coach of the “BSK Junior” basketball club, presented letters of thanks to Minister Milan Markovic and Danijela Nenadic, Director of the Coordination Body’s Office.

At the end of the day, which was very eventful for the children from Bujanovac and which made them very impressed with Belgrade, they visited the zoo

The visit was organized as part of the project “Let’s Have a Better Life Together”, which was supported by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.
