29. September 2016.

Medvedja – The training of the first group of 26 unemployed persons was followed by the opening of the Job Club in Medvedja, the equipment and operation of which is funded by the European Union, through the project called "The EU’s Assistance to the Unemployed and Less Employable Groups."

The club was opened by Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, who pointed out that that was only the beginning of a project that would help youth employment, and that the local self-government would do everything to provide them with better living and working conditions in their hometown. Activities at the club are aimed at teaching and training the unemployed to  present themselves as well as possible on the labor market.

The beneficiaries of the training course will be thought how to better look for a job and more efficiently or how to write a CV, a cover letter and how to submit recommendations. They will also learn where and how to look for work and how to present themselves to the employer. Apart from having free access to the Internet, they will be receiving information on job vacancies and a list of sites that offer information on the labor market.
