INVITATION TO THE “INSTITUTION OF OMBUDSMAN AND WRITING COMPLAINTS” TRAINING IN NIS

Belgrade – The Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) invites all interested activists, media representatives, students of political science and law, as well as the general public from Nis and the surrounding cities, to one-day training on the "Institution of Ombudsman and Writing Complaints," which will be held on December 21, 2018 in Nis.

The training is aimed at strengthening the institution of the Ombudsman to familiarize participants with the rights of citizens, as well as with the operation of the institution of the Protector of Citizens. After the training, the participants will be trained to properly write a complaint to the Ombudsman in order to enable them to protect their rights that are guaranteed by the legal framework.

The training in Nis, which is the first in a series of trainings, is conducted within the project "Promotion and Monitoring of the Work of the Institution of Ombudsman in Serbia", which is, with the support of the Embassy of the United States in Serbia, organized by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights.

Travel expenses for participants outside Nis will be covered by the organizer of the training.
