INVITATION TO THE INFORMATION MEETING AND DISCUSSION IN BUJANOVAC

The “Dokukino” Center for New Communications and the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja invite you to attend the first information-related meeting on the project "The South- Online," which is being implemented in the three municipalities.

The information-related meeting will be held at the Media Centre of the Municipality of Bujanovac and it will commence at 3 pm.

The project aims at training male and female representatives of civil society from South Serbia, through training courses and seminars, to use new media tools and social networks to improve the results of their work, increase their visibility among their key audiences and develop new partnerships. You will be informed in detail about our plans at the said information-related meeting, when we will jointly and through talks prepare the agenda of the upcoming training courses and seminars.

All research works show that Serbia is the leader in the region when it comes to presence of the people on social networks, both in terms of numbers and percentages. This bit of data, as well as the speed and availability of social networks make it clear to us that it is time for the civilian sector to turn to the new media and to begin using the resources at our disposal, which are free and available to everyone.

The training courses and seminars will provide your organization with the necessary knowledge about new media tools and social networks, which will help you achieve better results and have a greater visibility in your environment, ensure greater public trust, establish the communication with your new partners, as well as a better communication with your old ones, and share experiences with other organizations from the territory of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

Together with you, we wish to modernize the non-governmental sector, as well as to increase its efficiency and accessibility.

Also, we have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the presentation of Dokukino’s Facebook application "The Political Compass", so that we could demonstrate to you the power of social networking and new media and their impact.

We shall reimburse your travel expenses in the amount of the value of your return bus ticket from your city to Bujanovac.
