INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROJECT PROPOSALS UNDER THE JOINT REGIONAL UN PROGRAM "DIALOGUE FOR THE FUTURE" (DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 9, 2020)

As part of the joint regional UN program "Dialogue for the Future", a call for cross-border projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia was issued.

The call for project proposals is open to:

public institutions - primary and secondary schools, faculties, cultural institutions, research institutes, tourism and development organizations and other public institutions in all three countries,
local self-governmental units (municipalities/cities) in all three countries,
civil society organizations (CSOs) in all three countries.

The project proposals must be of a cross-border nature or they must include the project developer and at least one partner organization/institution from Bosnia and Herzegovina (for applicants from Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia) or at least one partner organization from Montenegro or Serbia (for applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The priority areas and topics of the call are:

Youth capacity building,
Improvement of media and information literacy and media reporting,
Improvement of dialogue and action for the common good,
Improvement of the educational system for achieving social cohesion,
Improvement of cultural diversity,
Promotion of cultural diversity and cross-cultural understanding,
Environmental protection.

The deadline for submitting proposals is February 9, 2020 by 5 pm.

The Joint Regional Program "Dialogue for the Future: Promoting Dialogue and Social Cohesion in and between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia" is implemented by the UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO, with the support of the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
