Young Basketball Players from Bujanovac in Belgrade

The Serbian, Romany and Albanian basketball players, who are from five to ten years old, are going to spend a day in Belgrade on Monday, April 18, 2011. Boys and girls from the  multiethnic basketball club „BSK Junior Elita“ are going to watch basketball training of young members of the „Partizan“ basketball club. They are also going to visit trophy rooms of the „Partizan“and „Crvena zvezda“(The Red Star) sporting associations. A visit to Belgrade ZOO was also organized for them.

As part of the visit, lunch and meeting with Milan Markovic, Minister of Human and Minority Rights and of State Administration and Local Self-Government and President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, was envisaged for young basketball players at the McDonald’s restaurant in Slavija Square at 3 pm. You are hereby asked to keep track of this leg of the basketball players’ stay in Belgrade.

The Multiethnic Mini Basketball League Project, within which a visit to Belgrade was organized, has been funded by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja for two years.
