INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM PROGRAM FOR YOUNG MALE AND FEMALE JOURNALISTS (DEADLINE: OCTOBER 23, 2019)

Young male and female journalists from North Africa, the Western Balkans and Western Europe are invited to apply for participating in the Support to Investigative Journalism program to be held in Skopje and Berlin in 2020.

The program, organized by CIFAR, consists of a five-day training in investigative journalism in Skopje (January 22 to 26, 2020) and a three-day stay in Berlin (March 27 to 29, 2020), which is focused on the development of investigative stories with other participants in the program.

Afterwards, male and female participants will be working on developing their stories for three months. The organizers cover the costs of travel, visas, accommodation, food and training.

Eligible to apply are young journalists between the ages of 20 and 35, with two to three years of work experience and an interest in investigative journalism.

The deadline for applying is October 23, 2019.
