INTERNATIONAL MILITARY EXERCISE "PLATINUM WOLF 17" SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

Bujanovac - Zoran Djordjevic, Defense Minister, Ljubisa Dikovic, Chief of Staff of the Army of  Serbia, and Kyle Scott and Denis Keefe,  Ambassadors of the United States and Great Britain to Serbia, attended a high-ranking officials event, which was organized as part of the international exercise "Platinum Wolf 17" at the military base "Jug" near Bujanovac.

In addition to members of the Army of Serbia, units of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Hungary, Macedonia, the United States, Slovenia, Great Britain and Montenegro participated in the ten-day military exercise "Platinum Wolf 17." 

Speaking of the military exercise, Minister Djordjevic said that the “Jug” base developed according to the specific schedule thanks to donations from the United States, and that the progress was visible from year to year.

“This area will get a completely different appearance and it will become a modern training ground for members of our Army, but will also be used for multinational exercises, such as this one, "Minister Djordjevic said.

He pointed out that 483 troops from eight countries and Serbia had participated in the exercise, of whom 99 had been engaged in logistical support. 

Addressing participants in the exercise, Minister Djordjevic expressed his satisfaction with being able to see what they had jointly learned and mastered over the previous ten days, the Ministry of Defense said.
