HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE TO BE PROVIDED AT EIGHT LOCATIONS IN PRESEVO, BUJANOVAC AND VRANJE IN EARLY SEPTEMBER

Bujanovac The Coordination Body, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, organized the third working meeting on humanitarian assistance, which will be provided in the territory of the Pcinj district. The topics discussed at the meeting included the locations where the said activity would be undertaken, as well as the engagment of the medical staff of different profiles that would be providing medical assistance to the inhabitants of distant places in the city of Vranje and the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac.

It is known at this moment that the humanitarian assistance will be provided at eight locations, two in Vranje, two in the municipality of Presevo ​​and four in the territory of Bujanovac.

Participants in the meeting agreed on the dates on which the activities would be undertaken,  which will be between September  6 and 16, 2016.

The meeting was attended by Zoran Stankovic ,the President of the Coordination Body, the medical team and representatives of the Army of Serbia, representatives of the Ohio National Guard, the Ministry of Defence of Angola, the US Embassy in Serbia, Sasa Mogic, the Deputy Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government responsible for local self-governmental affairs, Fatmir Hasani, MP, Slavisa Bulatovic, the Governor of the Pcinj district and MP, Igor Andonov, the Assistant Mayor of Vranje, Stojanca Arsic , the Deputy Mayor of Bujanovac, Mitat Sahiti, Lela Jovanovic and Nenad Mladenovic, the Directors of the Health Centers in Presevo, Bujanovac and Vranje, Miodrag Milkovic, the Director of the Veterinary Station in Bujanovac and Milena Misic, the Director of the Institute of Public Health in Vranje.
