The Republic of Serbia is in the process of reforming and improving the system of education at all levels. To implement the reform process, it is necessary to undertake a series of activities that should contribute to changes at the levels of the system and school. The schools and groups wishing to work on improving themselves often need support in the form of different sources of information about the opportunities and funding available to them.

The education system is increasingly more expected and required to follow the development of science and technology, to educate children, students and adults in accordance with the needs of the modern world, to provide knowledge that is the result of new scientific and technological advances, and to develop the skills and abilities for applying knowledge in different life situations.  Also expected are new forms of work in the school and classroom focused on the process of learning in an environment that motivates and in which the student is the main player in the process.
