HEALTH CENTER IN MEDVEDJA RECEIVED A CONTAINER - INFIRMARY FROM THE EU

1. March 2021.

Меdvedja - As part of the support and assistance to Serbia in the fight against the corona virus epidemic, the European Union started last year, and continued this year, donating containers - infirmaries for the reception and triage of patients. Such a health container has been set up in the area of the Health Center in Medvedja.

Containers with furniture for the triage and emergency health care enable the triage of patients and at the same time prevent access of potentially infected persons to the facilities of health institutions. They are equipped with an examination bed, a table with two chairs, a non-contact thermometer, smaller containers for medical and infectious waste and a waste bin.

"Containers are an important segment in the overall fight against the pandemic and a factor of prevention because they prevent the entry of potentially infected persons into health care institutions. Healthcare workers, who are at the forefront of the fight, must be protected, so that they could help all of us. That is why their protection is of key importance for our successful fight against COVID. The EU container for health protection of the population will be used for the care of patients with the KOVID 19 virus, and later in the regular work of this institution ", said Dragan Andjelkovic, the director of the Health Center.

He called on all fellow citizens to sign up for the vaccine through the e-Government portal, and if they are not able to do so, to contact their chosen doctors, in order to get help with the signing up.
