GOVERNMENT PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO COMPANIES FROM SOUTH SERBIA

Bujanovac - 18 companies from the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja received from the budget of the Republic of Serbia, and through the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, a little over 48 million dinars for improvement of their production.

Contracts on the allocation of incentive grants were signed by and between the owners of those companies and the President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Zoran Stankovic, who pointed out that that was the fourth year in which the government supported the development of private entrepreneurship.

“So far, in these four years, we have allocated two million euros ... and today we have signed contracts with 18 owners of small and medium-sized companies that have applied for the grants amounting to 48 million dinars, "he said.

Mr. Stankovic said that the largest grant amounted to around three million dinars, while the lowest one amounted to around 1.4 million dinars.  

“Of that amount, 12 companies from Bujanovac received a total of 31 million dinars, five companies from Presevo received 14 million dinars and one company from Medvedja got around a million dinars", he said.

The signing of the contracts was attended by the Mayor of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, and the President of the Interim Body of the Municipality of Medvedja, Nebojsa Arsic, while the Mayor of Presevo, Ragmi Mustafa, was unable to attend due to his involvement in solving the problem of refugees.
