GERMAN HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION "HELP" RENOVATES SIX HEALTH CENTERS IN SERBIA

Sombor -  Axel Dittmann, German Ambassador to Serbia,  said at a press conference in Sombor, which was held jointly with the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin, that the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany had approved the funds in the amount of 900, 000 euros for the latest project of the humanitarian organization "Help" in Serbia, which  relates to the renovation and equipping of six health centers in Serbia that are located in Sombor, Sid, Kanjiza, Subotica, Presevo and Pirot.  The said organization will use those funds to renovate the facilities for the temporary reception of refugees too.   

Ambassador Dittmann underscored that the project was a sustainable one.

“In the short run, the health centers will be used by refugees, but over the longer term, they will provide medical services to the local population, "said Ambassador Ditman.  .

When it comes to the issue of resolving the refugee crisis, Germany supports Serbia by means of  many projects, which are worth a total of around four million euros.
