GENDER BUDGETING TRAINING (DEADLINE: JANUARY 15, 2020)

The Gender Budget Watchdog Network (GBWN issued a call to civil society organizations to apply for basic and advanced training in gender budgeting, which will be organized under The Gender Budget Watchdog Network (GBWN) project.

Civil society organizations participating in the aforementioned trainings will also be able to apply for  grants for doing research and making reports on the implementation of gender budgeting and gender budget analysis or budgetary policies, with the appropriate support from experts in the field of gender budgeting.

The GBWN specifically calls for training for women's organizations - organizations that promote and advocate for women's rights, advocate in that field, as well as those who work directly with women from vulnerable groups, such as rural women, persons with disabilities, the poor, sexual minorities etc;  “think-tank” reform organizations, especially those relevant to the EU accession process – reforms in education, aging, youth policies, public administration, etc., and civil society organizations whose work relates to public finances (budget or public procurement)“ or those dealing with public finances and budgetary monitoring, and public procurement oversight.
