FOOTBALL CLUB "JABLANICA" FROM MEDVEDJA WON TOURNAMENT IN GERMANY

Medvedja - The “Life Stone Capital” Company, which runs the "Lece" mine near Medvedja, made it possible for the “Jablanica” football club from the municipality of Medvedja to travel to Germany for an international tournament, at which the said club won the first place and the championship trophy.

"We wouldn’t have succeeded without the support provided by the “Life Stone Capital” Company. Such a move will encourage our young football-players to practice football more and achieve even better results. Such encouragements will give our young footballers a chance and motivate them to stay in Medvedja, "said Tomislav Arsic, the President of the “Jablanica” football club", which was established back in 1926.

The "Jablanica" football club was asked to take part in the tournament by the "Nuremberg Serbia" football club from Germany, which is a member of the amateur football league, while 12 teams from Germany, Turkey, Croatian, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia competed in the tournament.

As of this September, the "Life Stone Capital" Company will financially support the “Jablanica” football school, which gathers around fifty children, who are from seven to fourteen years old.
