FIVE MILLION DINARS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN MEDVEDJA

Мedvedja - The Municipality of Medvedja put aside the amount of 5,000,000.00 dinars for conducting a public call for the award of grants for encouraging the development of entrepreneurship and micro and small businesses.

The contracts were handed out to entrepreneurs from the territory of the municipality of Medvedja in the Assembly Hall.

The funds were allocated for the purpose of co-financing, rehabilitation and reconstruction of the premises of economic entities and the procurement of machinery and equipment for the performance of their activities. The funds were approved in the amount of up to 50 percent of eligible costs.

The President of the Municipality, Nebojsa Arsic, pointed out that every investment in the economy was an investment in the development of Medvedja.

In this case, the municipality of Medvedja was the provider of aid that belongs to the state aid of small value "De Minimis".

The maximum amount of approved funds that the submitters of the business plan could get was 300,000.00 dinars per business entity or beneficiary of state aid.

The President of the Municipality of Medvedja emphasized that the goal of state aid was to improve the economic development of the Municipality of Medvedja and reduce the unemployment rate, as well as to improve the development of entrepreneurship.
