FIRST SESSION OF THE MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY OF BUJANOVAC

Bujanovac – Yesterday, the first session of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac was held, during which the report on the work of the Municipal Council of the municipality of Bujanovac for 2016 was adopted, as well as the reports on the work of the Municipal State Attorney's Office and the Local Economic Development Office for the previous year.

Also adopted was the draft decision on taxi transportation of passengers in the municipality of Bujanovac, which includes the specific conditions that the carrier must meet, the characteristics of taxi transportation and the manner of performing taxi transportation within the territory of the municipality of Bujanovac.

Under that decision, legal entities and entrepreneurs are obliged to replace their existing taxi driving licenses on the premises of the Department of Economy and Local Economic Development within 60 days from the date of the decision’s entry into force.

Members of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac also adopted the draft program of using earmarked funds from the budget of the Environmental Protection Fund in 2017.

As part of the program, funds amounting to 500, 000 dinars were provided for projects of environmental monitoring in the territory of the municipality of Bujanovac, funding for prevention and rehabilitation programs in the amount of 500,000 dinars, educational programs in the amount of 300,000 dinars, rehabilitation programs of illegal dumps in the amount of 1,400, 000 dinars, while 300, 000 dinars will be allocated for informing about and publishing data on the condition and quality of the environment.

The total funds earmarked for the above mentioned purposes amount to three million dinars.
