Source: Narodne novine - Nis / The paving with asphalt of the new Vranje-Bujanovac motorway on Corridor 10 began.  The first tons of asphalt arrived at an eight-kilometer section of the road, which is firstly built from Donji Neradovac, located near Vranje, to the Serbian House, located in the vicinity of Bujanovac. This winter, a five-kilometer lane will be put into operation. The entire section, including several bridges and overpasses, should be completed by June 2013.

Although the route is relatively short, the works are extensive. Among other things, 22 thousand tons of asphalt and 15 thousand cubic meters of concrete will be built into the section of the road. The construction will cost 20 million euros. Тhe funds were provided from the Greek "Hellenic Plan.” The contractor is the Greek company “Actor ", which engaged several local subcontractors.

After this section, eight kilometers of highway between the Serbian House and Levosoje will be built, which is located on the outskirts of Bujanovac and leading towards Presevo, along with a detour for Bujanovac. That is how this part of the road will be connected with the already completed section of the road leading to Presevo or to the Serbian-Macedonian border. The financiers’ consent is in the process of being obtained for this part of the road.
