FIFTH PUBLIC CALL FOR THE AWARD OF FUNDS RAISED TRHROUGH THE POSTPONEMENT OF CRIMINAL PROSECUTION IS ISSUED

The Ministry of Justice issued, for the fifth consecutive year, a public call for the allocation of funds raised through the postponement of prosecution, at which RSD 500 million would be allocated for projects of public importance.

All those responsible for the projects of public interest (healthcare, culture, education, humanitarian work, etc.) that are to be implemented in the 2020 budget year have the right to participate in the call.

The Ministry of Justice invites all interested parties to apply for the call, while the deadline for the submission of applications is 20 days from the day of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.

The call for applications will be conducted by the Ministry of Justice’s Commission composed of representatives of relevant institutions with the aim of selecting the projects of the highest public interest.

Since 2016, the Ministry of Justice has been continuously issuing public calls for the allocation of funds raised through the delay of criminal prosecution. Over the past four years (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019), the total amount of funds amounted to over 1.6 billion dinars, which was allocated to 450 projects, whose main goal is to improve the lives of Serbian citizens.
